Big Content would like to outlaw things no one has even thought of yet

This is so wrong, on so many levels it is absurd. Never mind stamping out innovation or the rights of people to make and sell their inventions and products. I think what burns me the most is the idiotic logic (or lack of) the MPAA/RIAA wants to make it so you can't have anything that could ever possibly be used to pirate stuff. How far do we want to take this? Logically carbon paper, Xereox machines, even pencil and paper would all have to go. And when did it become OK to assume the worst and ignore all the legal uses of an item? If this were applied to the medical field, where would we be? How many drugs that are beneficial CAN be abused? By RIAA logic we should get rid of cars because they could be used to hurt someone, nevermind that wasn't the intended use, it COULD be used improperly so ban it! Hammers, golf clubs, spoons, glass, wood, air, water, plastic, just about anything you can think of can be misused. The logical thing to do would be to punish those who misuse an item but this is big business, there is no logic here so lets punish all people because SOME, MIGHT misuse an item.

BRB, my dryer is done, although that will have to go since someone could put a cat in there! PETA will start suing children and old people!!!

I hate doing laundry! That will be one good thing, no clothes since that could be misused too. Granted the RIAA/MPAA wouldn't care about that but if they can get away with murder how soon until we see CPAA (cotton producers) or CAA (clothing association) pushing for bans since you can wash and re-use your clothes or suing old ladies for knitting. Luckily the courts won't exist since they can be abused too, lawyers suing people for suing people without a lawyer, it will be anarchy!!

I was getting a headache reading that link. I'm stocking up on Asprin in case that gets banned too. jaretj
