Thousands March Downtown In Immigration Protest - ClickonDetroit.com - MSNBC.com:

"'What crimes have they done? They are the hardworking people that are essential to this economy. And if they are deported, what would happen to our economy?' asked protester Sister Julie Slowik of St. Anne's Church. 'Secondly, anybody who would be helping the undocumented people in any way -- service agencies, churches -- with food, clothing, medical help, any humanitarian help, would also be considered felons.' "

I hate these people! What crime? UMMM. . . How about sneaking into the US illegally, there is a reason they are called illegal aliens. Anyone that helps them, yep! Guilty! If you help a murderer or rapist you are guilty of a crime, why should this be any different. HArdworking people? So what, lots of people work hard and don't break the law. What would happen to the economy? It will improve as we dont have the drain of extra criminals running around. What I find so amusing is that the law on becoming a US citizen or even coming here on a work visa are not changing, they are just getting tougher on an existing law and I, for one, am happy about it. No one is trying to stop people from coming, you just have to do it legally.
